MiraCosta Theatre wins awards at American College Theatre Fest.
Anyelid Meneses and partner, Carlos Darze, was a finalist in the acting competition, the Irene Ryan Scholarship. She finished in the top 16 of 313 total competitors. This was the third time in a row she made the semi-final round and the second time in three years that she made the final round. Only one other community college had a representative in the acting finals. * Asia Leads won "Honorable Mention" (3rd place overall) in the Stage Management competition. Sam Sherman won the Best Stage Manager Award for the 10 Minute Play Festival. ______________________________________________________ MiraCosta wins Patte' Award for Electra
Theatre Professor, Eric Bishop, accepts the Patte'Award posing with host and critic, Pat Launer, for the MiraCosta production of Electra. MiraCosta Theatre made its mark again in the San Diego Theatre community by distinguished itself with outstanding work and professionalism in 2007. Among the notable accomplishments:
