Starring Jonathan McMurtry and directed by North Coast Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director, David Ellenstein, The Tempest is a must see theatre event in the North County this year. This co-production with NCRT will feature a cast of seasoned professional actors mixed with top aspiring MiraCosta College students. Here is your chance to see one of the great Shakespearean actors lead the cast in a play of revenge, magic, humor and revelry.

Anyelid Meneses wins the prestigious Irene Ryan acting competition

Anyelid Meneses with partner Kyle Lucy (both center), beat out 248 students and returned home from the American College Theatre Festival in Utah victorious as the Irene Ryan acting scholarship WINNER! She is the second MiraCosta student to be selected to attend the Kennedy Center since 2006. They perform for the top national honors in acting at the Kennedy Center in April 12-17, 2010!
